San Diego is a popular destination for weddings and with many miles of beaches, is also an ideal location for a romantic beach wedding. Being on the west coast, California's beaches enjoy beautiful scenery and sunsets for wedding ceremonies.

There are many possible locations for a beach wedding in San Diego, some of the most popular may require a permit and a fee while others are free. From public beaches to private exclusive resorts, San Diego provides numerous idyllic locations.

The beach normally has a temperate climate on the cool side, often windy with cloud cover in the morning and is only warm during mid July through the beginning of October. The month of June, although very popular for weddings is typically very cool and overcast all day till mid July. Like everywhere else our weather pattern is changing and we are now known to have days where it may rain in any month of the year, so it is always good to have an alternate plan just in case.
